Lake Bicaz
The lake was created between 1950 and 1960, also called the Izvorul Muntelui Dam, with the aim of producing energy but also protecting against floods. Rasnov Fortress
Situated on a rocky hill on the outskirts of the city of Rasnov, Brasov County, it was built in the 13th century by the Teutonic Knights to defend the inhabitants against Tatar and Turkish invasions. It is currently one of the best preserved medieval fortresses in Romania, resisting due to its strategic position and thick walls.
